Minister of Home Affairs’ and Internal Security Jack Mwiimbu has revealed that eight suspects have been apprehended to help with investigations linked to the abduction case of Pamela Chisumpa and other cases.
Minister Jack Mwimbu also revealed that 2 sim cards belonging to the victim have been recovered.
He stated to the media during a press briefing in Lusaka, that the Zambia Police is investigating the matter with the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority ZICTA and other security wings of government to make sure the perpetuators are brought to book.
The Minister further appealed to members of the public who may have information on the matter to provide it to the authorities, but being cautious not to speculate or accuse innocent people.
“Let’s assist police with the investigation. Let’s not allow speculations and accusations to be made against innocent people,” he said.
