The Anti- Corruption Commission ACC has partnered with the Ministry of Health in the on- going recruitment exercise of health workers under the Global Funds Programme- COVID- 19.
ACC spokesperson Queen Chibwe said the Commission is participating in all stages of the recruitment exercise, as part of its corruption prevention function.
She said this is a function that will take necessary and effective measures for the prevention of corruption in public and private bodies during the recruitment process.
She further said the Commission envisages that the exercise will be conducted with the utmost adherence to due processes, merit and transparency.
Mrs. Chibwe in a statement availed to the media also stated that the Commission is engaging the Ministry of Health on the forth- coming mass recruitment of health workers and has warned against anyone that will be found engaging in corrupt practices during recruitment process.
“The Commission wishes to take this opportunity to warn all those that have applied for the vacancies in the Ministry of Health, as well as those that will be part of the recruitment exercise, that it will not hesitate to take serious measures against anyone that will be found engaging in corrupt practices,” she said
