The Bible Gospel Church in Africa BIGOCA has called on the church as a whole to encourage couples to build trust founded on being transparent with one another.
Reacting to president Hakainde Hichilema ‘s remarks where he suggested that married couples should avoid checking their spouses’ phones frequent as it leads to marriage polarization.
BIGOCA Deputy Secretary general bishop Lazarus Shumba said the issues causing divorce cases in the country has got little to do with access to each other’s phones but rather a lack of transparency and accountability.
He has encouraged couples to cultivate trust so as to make marriages stronger.
“We must live a life that is worthy of our calling, we must work towards perfection and make our marriages better,” he said.
