The Bank of Zambia says it has commenced the process of distributing claims to investors in destiny helpers international.
In line with the court order of 10 august 2022, the payments are being made from seized funds held in various DHI bank accounts amounting to over one million kwacha and over 19 thousand dollars.
BOZ assistant director Communication Besnart Mwanza said, as announced earlier, there are 4,893 duly verified claimants that the bank has received given the large number of the claimants.
Ms. Banda said that the bank will make the payments in a phased manner and shall follow the order in which the verified claims were received.
The Bank plans to pay up to 300 claimants per day.
