The Prison Care and Counseling Association PRISCA has commended the Prisons Reintegration and Empowerment Organization for Building the Re-integration Houses for Ex-convicts Established in Lusaka’s Matero Township.
PRISCA Executive Director Godfrey Malembeka in an interview with One Love Radio, noted that most ex-convicts do not have proper re-integration into society, saying that PRISCA has been advocating for proper reintegration for the past 23years and it is doing something in the same vein.
“What the Prisons Reintegration and Empowerment Organization is doing, to Building the Re-integration Houses for Ex-convicts in Lusaka’s Matero Township is a commendable thing,” he said.
The Prisons Reintegration and Empowerment Organization have established an Ex -convict s Transit Home in Lusaka’s Matero Township to help stranded former inmates have temporal shelter after serving their sentence.
