Butterfly Entertainment in conjunction with L & A logistics has donated assorted items worth over 30 thousand kwacha to Special Hope Network an organization that trains parents on how to take care of their children with special needs.
Speaking during the donation in Lusaka’s Ngombe compound, Butterfly Entertainment Managing Director Shika Liswaniso expressed gratitude in partnering with L& A in donating the items.
Mrs. Liswaniso also explained that children with intellectual disabilities in society need to be helped and embraced, hence butterfly entertainment have risen to the occasion to offer support.
“Today is a very beautiful day for us as butterfly entertainment because we envision to have communities where children have spectacular childhood through the products and services we offer,” she said.
She further thanked parents for taking care of children with special needs.
And Special Hope Network Head Manger Curriculum Angela Mwelwa expressed happiness for the kind gesture by L&A and Butterfly Entertainment further stating that the food and sanitary items donated will go a long way in helping parents curb the challenge they face when taking care of the kids.
She also reiterated that the economic status for the parents with intellectual children is not enough to sustain and support their kids, hence the need for more companies to continue coming on board in helping care for the children with special needs.
Meanwhile, speaking at the same event Zambian gospel artist commonly known as Magg44 encouraged parents to continue taking care of children with special needs as they are leaders who can develop the country going forward.
