The United Front for a Strong Foundation says the call by president Hakainde Hichilema to work with the opposition political parties to unite the country is highly misplaced
Speaking to One Love Radio news party president Brian Chisenga Lumbwe said different political parties have different agendas, therefore if his political party was in agreement with the UPND agenda, they would have been in an alliance with the UPND.
He stated that requesting political parties to work with the government is not visible as according to Mr. Lumbwe the UPND government has failed to convince the public that they have an agenda to change the nation.
Mr. Lumbwe said there is already unity in the country hence what Zambia needs now is an improved quality of life.
He therefore stated that joining UPND would be unfair and hypocritical to the people of Zambia.
“Our starting point is for the nation to first of all have a national agenda; the nation has national values without a national agenda,” he said.
