CCZ CALLS FOR POSITIVE ATTITUDES AMONG PEOPLE.

The Council of Churches in Zambia CCZ says the church and Christians at large should create an environment to help people known for controversial things.

This follows Ms. Iris Kaingu’s statement declaring that she wants to serve God and contribute to the body of Christ.

Speaking in an interview with One Love radio news, CCZ secretary General Fr. Emmanuel Chikoya said the Church is not a mini bus for only the privileged few, hence people should be welcomed regardless of their past.

He advised Christians to put away negative altitudes that would keep people from coming to church, and should encourage, guild and pray for people who are willing to change and serve God.

“The church is like a hospital, let’s make the church a place where everyone regardless what they have done or what their history is feel welcomed, and let’s stop this judgmental attitude,” he said.
