ChildFund Zambia donates supplies worth over kwacha 37 million

ChildFund Zambia has donated assorted pharmaceutical and other supplies valued at 37 million, 3hundred and 35 thousand, 5hundred Fourty kwacha, sixteen ngwee to the ministry of health to be used in hospitals.

ChildFund Zambia acting Country Director George Sichone says health care is at the core of ChildFund Zambia’s programming as it directly impacts their target group who are mostly children and women.

Mr. Sichone says ChildFund has been supplementing government effort by constructing and equipping health facilities with commodities to ensure that Zambians especially in rural areas have access to health care close to their communities and homes.

“Through this project, ChildFund has distributed vitamin A supplements and most recently Covid 19 protective equipment and other supplies to over 100 rural health centers”. He said.
