The Christian Nation Forum has condemned the match past that was organized by the Sister Sister Foundation in Lusaka on Sunday, which they say become a platform for promoting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, LGBTQ rights.

FORUM Chairman Bishop Israel Chelelwa said these are sinfull behaviors, which he said has got nothing to do with Human Rights and that Zambia is not a Sodom and Gomora country.

He stated that such behaviors are against the country ‘s morals and values  more especially that Zambia is a Christian nation.

He further called upon the police to prosecute the organizers of that match past.

In a similar development the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia also condemned what they term as gay parade seen in Lusaka over the weekend.

Speaking in a statement made available to One Love Radio EFZ Executive Director Bishop Andrew Mmwenda stated that Zambia is a Christian nation and that its governance is anchored on the words of God which cannot be uttered by man and the Rule of Law.

Bishop Mwenda noted that the law in this Christian country is very clear that any sexual practice that is different from what the society has considered natural is illegal and criminal under the Zambian law .

He also challenged the Zambia police to arrest the organizers of the march past.

And the Pentecostal Assemblies of God Zambia called on government to once and for all state its official and definitive position on the matter of the platform for promoting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, LGBTQ , activities that they say have continued within the Zambian boarders.

PAOGZ general Secretary Brian Bwalya in a statemnet said it is difficult to accept the announcemnet by the zambia Police service that the organisers of the protest have been sumoned when the same police service provided security to the protesters.

“The police are pretending to follow the law when in fact they allowed gay rights protesters to offend the cultural sensitivities of the Zambian population,” he said.
