President Hakainde Hichilema has terminated the appointment of Minister of Information and Media Chushi Kasanda and replaced her with Southern Province Minister Cornelius Mweetwa.
In a statement issued by state house chief communications specialist Clayson Hamasaka, the Head of State transferred Central Province Minister Credo Nanjuwa to Southern Province and replaced him with Princess Kasune to be Central Province Minister.
The President also removed Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries Permanent Secretary Dr. Anna Songolo pursuant of Article 270 of the Constitution.
Mr. Hichilema transferred Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary Kennedy Kalunga to Cabinet Office and replaced him with the Ministry’s Media Director and Spokesperson Thabo Kawana as Permanent Secretary.
The President further appointed Dr. Ron Mwamba as Auditor General pursuant of Article 249 [1] of the Constitution of Zambia.
