Director of Infectious Diseases at the Ministry of Health Lloyd Mulenga says the country has from December 2023 seen a steady rise in positive cases of COVID- 19 and currently two are in a critical state.
In an interview with One Love Radio Professor Mulenga said the ministry is concerned with a number of people that have not been vaccinated against the virus because they are at high risk of being affected.
He added that the virus has become seasonal and there’s need for people to be aware that covid-19 is still there and should always adhere to public health preventive precautions.
