The Bible Gospel Church in Africa BIGOCA has welcomed the move by President Hakainde Hichilema to task acting secretary to the cabinet Patrick Kangwa to re-unite married couples that were separated due to transfers in the past effective in the year 2022.
Speaking to one love radio news BIGOCA Deputy Secretary General Bishop Lazarus Shumba said this initiative is the best for the country because the family unit will be strengthened.
He said that this will enable the couples to do that which the bible requires of them, to train up a child in the way they should go.
“This move that the government has taken is the best move ever, it will build this country not in the benefit of an individual but in the benefit of all of us, as the church we are happy”, he further said.
He also urged the couples to love one another and restore family dignity.
