The MKP farms says the inaugural European Union Zambia Economic Forum has provided linkages for Zambian agricultural players to partner with other great players in the Agri-business especially for the export market.
The inaugural European Union Zambia economic forum under the theme economic transformation through green growth was officially opened on the 18th by President Hakainde Hichilema and has attracted different local companies who have showcased their home ground products and services at the exhibitions.
MKP farms Chief Executive Officer Michael Phiri told One Love Radio news in an interview that the exhibition has also provided an opportunity to learn the standards that are required for the European market.
Mr. Phiri also said an out grower scheme in central province is being implemented to ensure the produce of small holder farmers meet the quality required for supper markets in Zambia and also for export market.
“We are just providing market for the farmers and doing quality control,” he said.
