Forum for African Women Educationalists in Zambia FAWEZA has reiterate the significant impact of women in doing business across the country.
FAWEZA executive director Constance Kanchele said it is good if women involve themselves fully in business, as it contributes to the reduction of gender based violence cases in society.
Mr. Kanchele has told One Love Radio news that, with the hard economy most gender based violent cases in courts have been withdrawn because the women involved are dependent on the perpetrator.
He further says if women become less dependent on men they can be able to make sound decisions if their rights are being violated.
“A women is a mother and when they are able to do business and funds are in their hands, we are sure that the wellbeing of families will be enhanced,” he said.
