First Republican President exalts education importance

Tilyenji Kaunda announced that there’s need for quality healthcare personnel to save lives even from the most complicated illnesses in Zambia.

Speaking when he represented the first Republican president Kenneth Kaunda at the Kenneth Kaunda Scholarship 2019 launch at Texila American University in Lusaka Wednesday morning, Mr Kaunda called for efforts to balance the doctor, patient ratio in the health circles.

He has told scholarships recipient students to be zealous in the roles they play in their communities adding that the scholarships come at great cost and should be taken seriously and diligently.

Meanwhile Texila American University Registrar, Vijay Kumar has disclosed that 25 students has been awarded scholarships adding that “the university will continue to produce employable students by offering quality education.”
