Soccer Analyst Yotham Mwanza says a series of friendly matches lined up for the Zambia National Football Team are important for Player Development, ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
And Mwanza said the inclusion of Alex ‘BAZO’ NGONGA into the provisional squared of locally based players is an opportunity for the player to prove himself and consolidate his position.
“It’s always important to engage the national team in international friendly games, what is important is to keep the team in shape. It’s more like we are rebuilding the Zambian national team,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Chipolopolo are in Bagdad, ahead of Friday’s friendly match against Iraq, with two more friendlies lined up on a FIFA sanctioned date.
