GLOBAL ECONOMIC SHOCKS ON SMES CONCERNS ZEHEST.

The Zambia Empowerment Hub for Entrepreneurship and Skills Training ZEHEST has called for mitigations that would help small scale entrepreneurs fight the negative impact of global economic shocks.

Speaking to One Love Radio news ZEHEST Executive Director Clarence Muzyamba said private and small medium enterprises are the most affected when global; economics shocks hit, such as the rise in fuel prices due to the Russia and Ukraine conflict among other things.

Mr. Muzyamba further said a revolving fund given to small scale and private businesses by government is one of the mitigations that would deliberately foster growth and prevent SMEs from collapsing.

“When it comes to global economic shocks, we small medium enterprises get hit the most and our businesses become unstable,” he said.
