GOVERNMENT EAGER TO UNITE AND DEVELOP THE NATION THROUGH TRADITIONAL CEREMONIES

Minister of Commerce Trade and Industry, Chipoka Mulenga has revealed that government is available to listen from traditional leaders to foster development to the people.
Speaking during the fundraising breakfast meeting on wednesday, Mr. Mulenga disclosed that with the quest of uniting the nation and taking development to all parts of the country, the President has shown commitment by making an air strip in Kasama as the building of a tarmac commences. 
Mr. Mulenga encouraged the business community to involve the public as they take their investments in the areas they are investing.
He reminded that traditional ceremonies are there to unite and develop the areas where such activities take place nationwide.
Meanwhile, Senior Chief Nkula who spoke on behalf of Chitimukulu Chimanga Sosala, appreciated the commitment that the business Community has continued offering to the chiefdom through supporting the traditional ceremonies.
Chief Nkula thanked government for supporting the ceremony and that they value their partnership.
He encouraged the sponsors not only to support financially but also make an effort to attend the ceremony in person.
And UKusefya Pangwena Traditional Ceremony – Lusaka Committee Chairperson Dr. Bwalya Chiteba said that the traditional ceremonies are a time to unite as a nation and must be supported by all.
Dr. Chiteba added that there must be no segregation when a particular ceremony is taking place.
He further expressed gratitude over the support received from government especially from the President.
