Democratic Party president Harry Kalaba has confidently reveled that he is still party president despite party vice president Judith Kabemba alleging that Mr. Kalaba is not a registered member of the party but was only invited to contents as 2021 presidential candidate after he left the PF.
Speaking in an interview with one love radio on Thursday, Mr. Kalaba said as the court is yet to adjudicate, he is confident that he is still party president.
He said nothing has changed as he is comfortable on his seat, and has continued to run the affairs of the party.
“If there is anything that would have changed I would have told you, am a law abiding citizen, for now I can tell you with certainty that am party leader”, he said.
Mr. Kalaba has also reiterated that they shall not be shaken and will concentrate on things that are cardinal and not petty, even in an event where the wisdom of the court ruled that his not president.
“What ever Harry Kalaba will jump on today it will have life, therefore for us in the DP we are not shaken, because we know that we have the brand and its that brand the people of Zambia are looking forward to , there have been calls like ‘no form you own political party’ , you don’t form a political party when you already have one”, he further said.
