Independent churches of Zambia ICOZ have called on the new government to come up with a deliberate policy that will help carders who were removed from stations and markets source for income.
ICOZ president bishop David Masupa says the cadres should be mobilized and taken to rural areas where they can use the vast land available to engage in activities like farming.
He says this move can help them contribute to the productivity of the economy through agro crops that can be exported to other countries and not engage themselves in criminal activities.
He has also advised all carders that were drawn out to remain positive minded and go for skills trainings and businesses for them to generate income.
He was speaking in an interview with one love radio news on Friday.
