The kids against crime Zambia has condemned the act by some pupils of Mukamambo girls boarding secondary school in Chongwe district who were expelled for spending nights away.
The pupils in question aged between 14 and 16 years are said to have gone out with their boyfriends from Chalimbana University.
And Organization Country Director Musenge Sampala said the behavior of the teenagers shows that they do not adhere to the rules of the school and the guidelines laid by the management.
The Country Director was however of the view that the school management should not have expelled them but instead provide counseling and give them a second chance.
“In the first instance they should have put the five girls into a counseling program or therapy so that such doesn’t repeat itself,” he said.
