The Leadership Movement (LM) has criticized the just ended African Union SUMMIT 4th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting which was hosted by Zambia for failing to meet the aspirations of the poor majority population on the continent.
Speaking with One Love Radio, LM President DR Richard Silumbe said the agenda of the summit failed to achieve any meaning as African leaders have continued to auction the continent’s mineral resources.
Mr. Silumbe charged that Zambia has continued to lag behind in both industrialization and manufacturing sectors because the current government has prioritized foreign interests.
“The agenda was to ensure Africa is dependent on it self by being productive,” he said.
