The National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) is taking a leading role in the establishment of the Anti Doping Agency of Zambia to curb substance abuse in sports.
NOCZ President Alfred Foloko in an interview with One Love Radio News, said as National Olympic Committee NOCZ and Zambia at large through government is determined to create a National Anti-Doping Agency NADO, to be compliant with international treaties.
Mr. Foloko also clarified that the National Anti-Doping Agency covers all sports or all sports disciplines that are registered with the National Sports Council of Zambia.
“The Olympic body will take a leading role in the process as it is currently the “de facto” body in charge of anti doping in Zambia,” he said.
