Opposition urges government to formalize unemployed youth income source

The Young African Leaders Initiative YALI have called for a formalization of operations in bus stations/Markets and revisiting of markets and bus stations Act of 2017 which calls for instatement of market boards.

The government recently called for the withdrawal of every cadre from the bus stations and bus stops, which has been met with a 50/50 reaction from both stakeholders and the general public.

Speaking in an exclusive phone interview with one love radio on Friday, YALI says that the unemployed youths that are found in markets and bus stations need an institutionalized way of operation adding that government has not solved any problem by just removing them from there.
