Patriotic Front PF member of the central committee and Presidential aspiring candidate Chishmnba kambwili has been arrested and detained at Kabwata police station.
Dr. Kambwili was reported to have issued tribal remarks during the campaign period in the build up to the August 12 2021 general elections.
This is contrary to section 70 subsection one and two of 2021 of the cyber security and cyber-crimes Act.
Zambia police Deputy public relations officer Danny Mwale said this occurred between May 2021 and August 2021 in Kasama district Northern Province.
Dr. Kambwili is yet to be transported to Kasama, where the alleged offence was committed.
