The Poultry Association of Zambia has bemoaned the effects of loadshedding on the poultry industry.
Speaking to One Love Radio news Association Executive Director Dominic Chanda said energy disruption in the supply tends to have a negative impact on the productive sector and some custodians that have not invested in alternative sources of energy tend to close up.
Mr. Chanda however said even those with alternative sources of energy still find it expensive to manage.
He therefore commended the reduction in hours of load shedding stating that it will cushion the impact on the production.
“For those that haven’t been able to invest in alternative sources of energy tend to be affected negatively,” he said
