Proudly Zambian campaign under the Zambia Association of Manufacturers ZAM says Zambia is capable of exporting locally made products to Europe despite its dependency on imports for the past years.
Campaign coordinator Lewis Chimfwembe said it is possible for the country to penetrate the European market, as there are only a few countries exporting, and hence the president’s move to expand is importance.
Speaking to One Love Radio News, Mr. Chimfwembe further noted the need for certain issues that can frustrate trade to be addressed.
“For us to penetrate the European market fully there are issues that have to be addressed. There are these regulations and standards that are required from you that at the end of the day tend to frustrate trade,” he said.
