SAFADA CALLS ON FARMERS TO BE SELF-SUSTAINED.

The Small Scale Farmers Development Agency SAFADA has called on famers to become self sustained.

Commenting on a statement from some farmers on the Famers Input Support Program FISP, appealing to the government to allow them access inputs for the next two years before being weaned, SAFADA Executive Director Boyd Moobwe said that government should consider their call so as to give them ample time to prepare.

Mr. Moobwe however sated that this should not be a tendency from farmers, noting that farmers should also learn to be self dependent.
