The United Party for National Development UPND Lusaka province chairperson obvious Mwaliteta has expressed concern and disappointment in the manner the Director for Public Prosecutions (DPP) Lillian Siyuni is conducting herself.
Addressing the media on national matters on Tuesday, Mr. Mwaliteta said following the DPP’s move to enter a Nolle prosequi in a case in which KCM provisional liquidator Milingo Lungu was charged with two counts of theft and money laundering involving K4. 4 million shows that she has remained loyal to the PF which he says is risky for the plans of the UPND government has.
Mr. Mwaliteta said some UPND members are still in prison and where not given Nolle prosequi, further stating that the DPP only wants to frustrate efforts of government hence she should resign.
“Ms. Siyuni should resign, we are not going to allow you madam, we will still give you chance to resign on moral grounds,” he said.
