The Opposition United, Prosperous and Peaceful Zambia UPPZ has supported the call to ban alcohol in the country by the resident doctors association of Zambia.

He stated that alcohol has also made people to be unfruitful and helpless in society when they should be doing things that would add value to the economy.
On Wednesday morning RDAZ President Dr. Brian Sampa embarked on a 140 kilometer walk from Lusaka to kabwe on a ban alcohol movement to pursue government to ban alcohol in the country and raise awareness on the dangers of consuming alcohol.
“Alcohol has not done the society good excerpt to those that sale it to the community they have benefited,” he said.
