Chilo-Chabalenje Primary school is located in Mungule Chiefdom in Katuba constituency of Chibombo district in central province.
The school has 520 pupils with only 6 teachers due to the lack of development that was causing most teachers to shun the school.
However the story seems to be changing with the coming on board of well-wishers who have built two classroom blocks, a staff room and are renovating the other classrooms.
The donors Dr. Francis and Pastor Camila Myles and their partners Tom and Jenin have also built a borehole for the school that has saved the pupils from walking long distances to fetch water to use at the school.
For the donors this is preaching Gods love as they reach out to these children.
“I believe there is greatness in every person born and I am encouraging the children to look at themselves beyond their locality and circumstances.” Pastor Camila Myles states.
However school head teacher has appealed for more help from the donors such as a teachers housing complex, desks, a water tank, and electricity to enable them use computers at the school.
