The Zambia Motor Sports Association ZMSA has announced that so far 24 participants have confirmed their entries in the fourth coming Zambia International Motor Sports rally to be held in Lusaka from the 21st to the 23rd of October 2022.
Ndola based Leroy Gomes, Farook Ticklay and female driver Mailes Chulu are among the local participants while, out of the 24, only 6 foreign drivers have registered so far.
This was said during the unveiling of the rally headquarters at Radisson blu hotel in Lusaka, by ZMSA rally commissioner Martin Mwitila who is also the rally Clerk Of Course.
Meanwhile, the Zambia Motor Sports Association has also continued to promote women’s participation in sports and has further called on women to take keen interest and join Motor Sports in Various Levels.
“In this rally we are going to highly promote women in Motor Sports, and we will 100% need your support”.
