World Youth Leadership Foundation limited WYLF has urged youths in the country to embrace creativity and innovation through technology for human development and problem solving.
Organization director general Nalishebo Nyambe said as the world commemorates world creativity and innovation day under the theme creativity and innovation in problem solving, youths should take advantage of the new technology available to find means and ways to bring their ideas to life.
“People have developed different devices because of innovations, so young people should take advantage of the technology through a research also to ensure that they add to their knowledge and find a way of living,” he said.
Speaking to One Love Radio news, Mr. Nyambe also appealed to the Ministry of Technology and Science to take keen interest in bringing up innovations and ideas to life by the youths as it will create many employment opportunities in the country.
“We appeal to government through the Ministry of Science and Technology to ensure they find ways they can engage young people and sensitize them on various things, that concern technology and how dreams can be brought to reality,” he also said.
