Zambia has joined the rest of the world in commemorating teachers’ day which is being held under the theme “The teachers we need for the education we want: the global imperative to reverse the teacher shortage.“
Now, the Zambia National Education Coalition ZANEC is pleased to join the teachers in commemorating world teacher’s day.
Speaking to One Love Radio ZANEC Executive Director George Hamusunga said as ZANECs advocacy work of promoting quality education for all in our country teachers play a pivotal role in human life and society hence the need to appreciate and celebrate them.
He however advice teachers to raise to the government issues affecting them and their general condition in their professionals even as they deliver quality education.
