Zambia has finished as winners of group B in the Hollywoodbets COSAFA women’s championship.
The Bruce Mwape side sealed a 2-0 victory against Eswatini in Tuesday’s game in South Africa, courtesy of a goal each from Barbra Banda and Eneless Phiri.
Speaking in a post-match interview Team coach Bruce Mwape said despite the good performance by the players, there is need for the team to prepare well so as to avoid missing out scoring chances in the tournaments ahead.
The Zambian women team have since finished with nine points in their group and await the winners of group C for the Semi-final match on Friday the 9th of September 2022.
