Zambia Revenue Authority ZRA has advised the general public against engaging and participating in the smuggling of goods.
ZRA Corporate Communications Manager, TOPSY SIKALINDA told one love radio news in an exclusive interview that people who smuggle goods are sabotaging the economy hence they should take responsibility and do what is right.
He said smuggling of goods has a huge and negative impact on society, stating that it robes the needed resources for various sectors.
Mr. SIKALINDA also said people involved in smuggling are denying an opportunity to many Zambians who are in need of government resources.
“It robes the people of Zambia of the much needed resources that are supposed to be used in the health sector, education sector and any other sectors,” he said.
