The Dream life two sixty in partnership with various corporating partners has launched the run for life community marathon to be held on the 17th May 2026 in commeration of world hypertension day in Chibombo of Central province.
Speaking at the launch, the Dream life two Sixty Administrative Director Lawrence Kachofwa said the run for life movement accompanied by the launch of the run for life marathon is meant to raise awareness, promote prevention, foster unity and increase knowledge on hypertension.
Mr. Kachofwa said good health matters and the community will gain knowledge about hypertension and the prevention of hypertension during the marathon.
He said the marathon was organised as a response to provide a platform to enable participants to run as a sport and as a health lifestyle.
Meanwhile African Grey insurance Managing Director Geoffrey Chirwa said a health community is a community that will development hence preventative measures such as running to ensure good health especially in the fight against non communicable diseases such as Hypertension is important.
The marathon will have three prizes with the main prize being k15, 000, the second prize k10,000 and the third prize k7500.
