Thilosani Chikwanda, a Mining Expert has commended government for emphasizing the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the mining industry.
Speaking In an interview with One Love Radio News, Mr. Chikwanda stressed that Corporate Social Responsibility should be a key component of mining companies’ business strategies to manage risks and ensure sustainability.
He noted that CSR offers numerous benefits, including reduced reputational risk, enhanced community trust, and improved operational resilience.
“By prioritizing CSR, mining companies can minimize negative impacts and maximize positive contributions to local communities,” Mr. Chikwanda added.
